Carrie Stark Hugus was 13 years old when her father killed himself. Her book, Crossing 13: Memoir of a Father's Suicide, describes in clear, direct terms what happened, and how her life changed. Carrie, a longtime Highlands Ranch resident, is a knowledgeable and engaging speaker about an important topic: the recovery from both the stigma, and the trauma, of family suicide.
