Performance Applications
It will be an evening of music at the Castle Rock Community Bandstand (100 S. Wilcox St., at Philip S. Miller Library, Castle Rock) Saturday, August 23 at 7:30 p.m. Enjoy a free concert with the Castle Rock Band, a revival of Castle Rock's turn-of-the-century town musicians. The group specializes in brass band music from the late 1800s with wind and vocal accompaniment.
The Town of Castle Rock and Douglas County Libraries partner to bring cultural performances and demonstrations to the Philip S. Miller Library Castle Rock Community Bandstand.
Applications are available here and at the Philip S. Miller Library at 100 S. Wilcox St., Town Hall at 100 N. Wilcox St., and the Castle Rock Recreation Center at 2301 N. Woodlands Blvd.
The Bandstand featured a number of performances last year including: the Castle Rock Band, the 4th Annual Teen Battle of the Bands, Aries Brass Quartet, Rob Soloman Americana and Country Blues Rock Concert and quilt shows.
Please return applications to the Philip S. Miller Library. Any person or group is encouraged to fill out an application packet to host a free cultural performance or demonstration at the Bandstand.
Applications are accepted during the following dates:
Deadline Date:
- March 15 deadline for Spring (April-May) Performance
- May 15 deadline for Summer (June August) Performance
- Aug. 15 deadline for Fall (September - October) Performance
- Oct. 16 deadline for Winter (November - January) Performance
