eMedia2Go offers Apple compatible MP3 format

Douglas County Libraries now offers the new Apple compatible MP3 format in its eMedia2Go.org collection.

Download audiobooks to your Ipod as well as hundreds of other compatible players. You'll find popular fiction and nonfiction authors for children, young adults and adults in a variety of popular genres. This new format offering is in its infancy and all audiobook publishers are not currently offering DRM-free (Digital Rights Management) downloadable audiobooks. Watch our collection grow. You can download audio and video at eMedia2Go.org. Please have your library card handy.

In order to use the new format you will need a Douglas County Libraries card. You'll need to download Overdrive Media Console 3. OverDrive Media Console provides users with a superior audiobook listening and navigation experience with newly added support for easy transferring of OverDrive MP3 Audiobooks to iPodR, iPhoneT, and iPodR touch. This new release also includes a 'burn wizard' feature for creating standard audio CDs from download audiobooks. Users can obtain the free software at Emedia2Go.org.
