Catalog 2.0
Tuesday, November 18th, we relaunched the catalog on our website, with a host of new features. As a guide to some of those new features, and where you can expect to find them, this is what you'll now find with our new catalog:
Availability and holding information:
Its shelf location, where it's checked in, and what the hold list is like. If it's part of a series, you'll see that here, too, along with links to eMedia2Go, if it's a downloadable, and links to the Douglas County History Resource Center, if it's on their website.
Buttons & icons (pt. 1)
Instead of clicking on links, you can now click on a button below the book jacket to place an item on hold.
New items also have graphics to help you find them quickly.
Refinements
![]()
We've added some new categories, such as New Arrivals
and a subject heading for Non-Fiction
Navigation
![]()
Instead of scrolling to the bottom of the page to go back or forward a page, you can now find those options at the top of the page, as well.

You can also return to the home page by simply clicking on our web address in the upper left-hand corner.
Lists
On the left under @ Your Library, you'll find new lists
and on your right, under the refinements.
From the full-record screen:
Holding information where you want it
At the top, so you don't have to go looking for it.
Simplified copy listings

In, Out... Any questions?
Buttons & icons (pt. 2)
Your Lucky Day copies
Graphics that tell you where they're located, and a key for those unfamiliar with the program.
My Discoveries
is a little more personalized
Plus, your branch now appears at the top of the holdings, and
A single login allows you to place holds and get into the databases.
So, give it a try and know we'll be listening, as we continue to make improvements.
Thanks!
